Start with your systems. Then decide what should connect.
Most institutions already use a mix of systems and data formats. MTRX begins by understanding what is in place, what can be accessed and what should be connected for the agreed use case. Integration scope is confirmed only after technical and governance review.
Potential integration inputs
These are the kinds of inputs MTRX assesses. Inclusion depends on availability, authorisation, data rights and quality.
Models and spatial data
Building information models, drawings, GIS or other spatial data where available.
Asset and maintenance systems
Asset registers and maintenance or work-order systems.
Building management systems
Building management or automation systems where authorised interfaces exist.
Meters and sensors
Energy meters, environmental sensors or other approved data feeds.
Identity and institutional systems
Only where appropriate, necessary and approved.
Existing data sources
Databases, APIs, files and reports, subject to data rights and quality.
How an integration is assessed
Inventory
List the systems, owners, versions and data sources.
Identify interfaces and controls
Note interfaces, access controls, data rights, rate limits and security requirements.
Map the data
Map identifiers, schemas, units, timestamps and data-quality issues.
Choose a pattern
Select an appropriate method: API, scheduled import, event feed, file exchange or another approved approach.
Plan operations
Define monitoring, error handling, retries, ownership and change management.
Test and document
Test against acceptance criteria and document operational responsibilities.
Named integrations are confirmed in discovery.
We do not publish a list of supported integrations until engineering has confirmed that each one is implemented and supportable. Integration feasibility is assessed during discovery.
Please do not send credentials. Do not submit passwords, API keys, secrets or confidential system details through public forms or email. After qualification we arrange a controlled technical exchange.
Tell us what you want to connect.
Describe the systems and the outcome in general terms. We will assess feasibility before anything is promised.
